Intellectual Property Rights Policy
We provide an Internet based information and resources service to our members and the wider credit union movement. All content is posted to the site by us. Attached to the site is a discussion group which is used by registered users.
We try to make every reasonable effort to ensure that materials posted to the internet site or of the Discussion Group do not infringe third party intellectual property rights.
However, we encourage intellectual property rights owners to contact us if they believe that their rights are being infringed by ourselves or one of our users. If you let us know that your rights have been infringed by a user of our site, or by ourselves, we will (in our discretion) require the user(s) to cease infringing your rights and/or cease the alleged infringement ourselves. If users cease to do so we will terminate their ability to use the website or discussion group.

Policy on the NACUW Discussion Forums
- Welcome to the discussion forums. The forum is here to enable anyone interested in the British Credit Union Movement to discuss issues and share experiences and information.
- The Discussion Forum has been designed to be easy to use. People can post information about your events on the site and let others know your news. We hope people will take the opportunity to discuss current issues and share experiences.
- In order to promote the smooth running of the forum, users are asked to comply with the following policies:
- Users must not post any materials to the discussion forum that is knowingly false or inaccurate.
- Users should not post messages that are abusive or offensive to any individual or group.
- The NACUW Discussion Group must not be used by commercial firms to promote their products and services.
